A neat, short shanked, sweet iron bit with raised copper ribs and rollers.
A very popular bit as it can be used with either the raised or smooth side facing. Giving the rider two options, an effective bit or a milder one. These gags have the straight mouthpiece with no curvature, so can be used both ways.
 
Please note the Sweet Iron Tom Thumb Gag which is produced by Shires has changed. The mouthpiece has a slight curvature and therefore can only be used one way. We no longer stock the Shires Tom Thumb.
